EIGHTEEN junior badminton players from Zohour Sporting Club will participate in the Tom Slovenia junior international championship in Mirna in Slovenia from 12-14 October. From there, the players fly to Umag in Croatia for the Croatian Junior Championship from 19-21 October. In the two events, the 11-year--olds are entering singles in men and women. Those aged 13 will participate in doubles men and women while the 19-year-old players will partake in mixed teams. Included in the line-up is Egyptian singles champion for his age, Mohamed Yehia, 11, Ahmed Yehia, 13, the African champion, in men's doubles Mohamed Sayed El-Sayad and Alaa Youssef ,and Hadeya Hosni in singles and doubles women. The touring team is headed by Yasmine El-Katib, a member of Zohour's board.
