Hundreds of stranded Palestinians stormed the Gaza Strip's border crossing with Egypt yesterday, throwing rocks at Egyptian troops and demanding to pass through the frontier. The crowd burst past Hamas security forces but was unable to get through to Sinai where Egyptian troops responded with water cannons.
