 Goodbye Joe. The great director, artist and intellectual Youssef Chahine passed away this week after battling with illness. We shall sorely miss him. He was a treasure and a pleasure to be with. He was a dear friend and as such I illustrated him as laughing at death itself. He was full of life, energy and dynamism.
