 The tragedy of the Moqattam has gripped the nation. Egypt is morose and despondent. The Dweiqa disaster has left an indelible mark on the minds of Egyptians. The tragedy was a grim reminder of the deplorable living conditions of the sons and daughters of the shantytowns on the outskirts of Cairo. We shall not forget those who lost their lives in the Moqattam Mountain tragedy.
