AVEX MENA Awards 2008

A SIGNIFICANT feature of AVEX 2008 is the esteemed award series to reward regional excellence in the industry. The awards were designed to recognise achievement in safe, secure and sustainable development of business aviation, reward those companies who have attained the highest standards and highlight the importance of and the opportunities offered by continuous growth of business aviation in the Middle East.

The International Air Transport Organisation offered two awards to enhance regional aviation safety, most progressive implementation of ICAO policies, safety/security, and the aviation climate. The MENA and ICAO winners are as follows:

ExecuJet -- Business Jet Provider of the Year MENA

Air Arabia -- Best Regional Airline of the Year

Tyrolean Air Jet -- Aircraft Private Charter Service Provider MENA

Jor Amco -- MRO MENA Company of the Year

Cestyl Motorola -- Enhancing regional aviation safety ICAO

Embraer -- Minimising aviation greenhouse emissions ICAO
