 The Islamic thinker and philosopher Mustafa Mahmoud was a brilliant mind. He was a learned scholar, medical practitioner and a man of principle who followed his heart. He started out agnostic, only to discover true faith and died a believer. I illustrated him with penetrating eyes, protruding lips and a pensive countenance.
