This week my heart goes out to Coptic Pope Shenouda III who has demonstrated once again in difficult times that he is tenderly caring for his flock. Like the good shepherd, Pope Shenouda of Alexandria and the Patriarch of All Africa on the Holy Apostolic See of Saint Mark the Evangelist is a humble and wise man. He is a preacher of peace. I illustrated him with a sad countenance contemplating the future of his people. The terrorist blast in a church in Alexandria was a national tragedy. May God bless him and give him the wisdom to help Copts and all Egyptians -- Muslim and Christian -- to overcome this trying test of terrorism.
