This week the world, and not just Egypt, witnesses the trial of ex-president Hosni Mubarak. Suffering from a severe depression, in a state of atonement and utter desperation, I pictured him behind bars -- the first Arab leader to undergo such an ordeal since the Arab Spring. I ponder the sweeping changes that have made such a prosecution possible. We live indeed in changing times.
