This page is dedicated to results of a poll conducted by the Youth page team on the qualifications and priorities of Egypt's next president. We have asked young Egyptians (18 to 39 years old) from across the social spectrum to share their points of view. Here are some insights: 90 per cent believed that the next president should be a man. 44 per cent wanted Egypt to adopt a liberal political ideology. 80 per cent wanted the president to be a civilian. 61 per cent believed that Egypt should adopt a new political model, while 42 per cent believed that the age of the country's president should be around 50 years old.
