Outfits for office casual days

Wearing jeans at work, if your office allows it, can be a bigger style challenge than it seems. It’s true that getting your outfit right for work, even when the usual rules apply, can be stressful. The good news is that there are plenty of options for wearing denim to work that will help you look both stylish and appropriate.

Take a look at these options for dressing in jeans for the office:

Tweed blazer: Slim black jeans and a white button-down are a perfect pairing for denim days at the office. For a more professional look, layer on a classic tweed suit blazer.

Black fitted blazer: An all-black uniform is a stylish choice if you want to look sharp on jeans days at the office. Go for straight-leg or skinny jeans in black with minimal detail and keep the jeans classic. A structured, double-breasted blazer that nips in at the waist will show off your feminine shape.

Cropped trench-style jacket: A trench-style jacket worn with jeans always looks right. Wear it with high-waisted skinny jeans. Keep accessories minimal for a clean look that is appropriate for work.

Black tuxedo-style blazer: Pair medium-wash skinny blue jeans with a message T-shirt and a black tuxedo-style blazer and you will have a casually sophisticated work outfit that will impress your boss and co-workers.

Long-line blazer: A blazer pulls together your jeans outfit for the office, as well as camouflaging your least favourite body parts. To minimise hips and bottom, layer a long black blazer over a simple white shirt and boot-cut jeans. The blazer will slim your silhouette and cover your rear end, while slightly flared boot-cut jeans balance out wider hips. For more figure flattery, wear a pendant necklace to draw attention upwards on the body.

Printed blazer: If you’re working in creative fields, such as advertising, graphic design or gallery sales, you want to be comfortable but stylish. You can pair a beautiful graphic cropped jacket with well-fitting slim jeans. For a trendy and slimming silhouette, choose jeans and a jacket in similar colours.

Light-coloured leather jacket: To look feminine while still looking like someone who is in charge, start by creating a long, lean silhouette with slim black jeans and a draped black tunic that fits close to the body. Then layer on a soft leather blazer in a lighter colour. This is an expensive-looking outfit you can wear for meetings, presentations or lunch with a client.

Tote bag and black ankle boots: Working in a more casual environment is sometimes a challenge, so finish your look with stylish accessories, such as a high-quality tote bag and black ankle boots.
