It’s time to start talking about autumn trends. Among other things, accessories can make or break an outfit, and they are a significant element in any trend. From classic pearls to animal print belts, there are a number of playful and chic accessory trends that can revive your look this autumn.

Here are some accessory trends that are easy to integrate into your wardrobe and could even remind you to dust off some of the items you have not been wearing:

Beads:
All colours, all lengths, and all sizes are trending this autumn.

Statement chokers:
A carryover from the spring, chokers of all styles are trending this autumn and are very much a throwback to the 1990s.

Duster earrings:
Very long earrings that lightly or fully “dust” the collar and shoulders provide some of the best craftsmanship when it comes to jewellery trends this autumn. Duster earrings can also be either worn as heavy pieces or as light and delicate ones.

Cuff bracelets:
Though popular for a while now, these are still trending this autumn.

Pearls:
Pearls never go out of style, and they have an extravagant and larger-than-life edge. They can grace everything from multi-layered strands to gorgeous statement rings.

Statement necklaces:
Not only are big earrings trending this autumn, but statement necklaces are as well. The same thing is true of statement earrings, where the rule is the bigger the better.

Tassels:
These have been a popular trend and tassels are not going away anytime soon.

Cross-body bags:
cross-body bags have been made appropriate for autumn in sombre tones and using heavier materials that showcase a more luxurious and autumn-ready approach. Sizes range from smaller bags to larger bags that can carry more weight.

Earthy pieces:
Seemingly unique, raw and earthy pieces with looks ranging from classic and refined to flowy and bohemian are trending this autumn.

Belts:
Animal print belts are expected to play a dominant role in this year’s autumn looks.
