Every Friday, 8.30pm: “Al-Aragouz wa Khayal Al-Zel” (The Shadow Puppet), a free public performance by clowns in Al-Muizz Street, presented by Wamda and directed by Nabil Bahgat.

Thurs 5, 10.30pm: Bluezophrenia will rock the house with their spot-on blues and rock n roll. Screwdriver band skillfully covers all your favourite hits and ensure you don’t stop dancing as always.
Fri 6, 10pm: DJ Fabric is back at CJC after a very long time! DJs Fabric and Special K get the weekend started on an upbeat note with their house sets!
Sat 7, 10.30pm: Storm band takes traditional Egyptian songs and breathes new life into them   creating a connection to today’s Egyptian youth. Sticking to the traditional, the upper Egyptian musician Basheer will sing his captivating folk music which is sure to take you to another time and place.

Thurs 5 and Fri 6, 8pm: The Cairo Opera Company, directed by Iman Moustafa presents “Opera Square” mini opera playing works by Mozart, Verdi, Puccini and others. It features soloists: Iman Moustafa, Tahia Shamseddin, Mona Rafla, Reda Al-Wakil, Rasha Talaat, Walid Korayem, Jolie Faizy, Ingy Mohsen, Tamer Tawfik, Ramez Lebbad, Ezzat Ghanem, Gihan Fayed and many more, together with pianist Medea Ormotsadze. Idea and script by Amal Hegazy, choreography by Tarek Hassan and directed by Hazem Roshdy.
Thurs 12, Fri 13, Sat 14, 8pm: “The Blue Elephant” modern dance show based on Ahmed Mourad's novel, is performed by the Modern Dance Theatre Company, choreographed and directed by Monadel Antar.

Thurs 5, 6 and 8pm: El Sawy Culturewheel Puppet Theatre show revives the concerts of the diva Um Kolthoum playing two of her best songs.
Sun 8, 7.30pm: Sudanese musician Shaker Abdel-Rehem will sing and play the guitar.
Tues 10, 7pm: For two hours, Zohoor Alrabiaa (Spring Flowers) band will present a various collection of Abdel Halim Hafiz and Farid Alatrash songs through different voices that give you the sense of the past.
Wed 11, 7pm: Percussionist Mohamed Abou Hadid, in a rhythmic singing concert.
Thurs 12, 7.30pm: Poet Ahmed Haddad along with Hazim Shahin on oud are gathered again to present a new poetic singing evening.

Thurs 5 and Fri 6, 8-9pm: “Belbaladi”, a contemporary dance show which is an exploration of genuine Egyptian phenomena, through aggregating the personal experiences of artists living in Cairo and interpreting them through contemporary dance. Body language and gestures specific to Egypt, shaabi/baladi dance movements, maharganat music combined with different aspects of everyday life in Cairo serve as a source and inspiration for developing a specific kind of dance/physical interpretation, incorporating both traditional and modern principles, coming from Egyptian dancers and exposing modern Egyptian culture. The show is followed by an open discussion.
