Sat 21, 7-10pm: Charles Gounod’s historic and widely acclaimed opera “Romeo et Juliette” is screened live in HD from the Metropolitan Opera in New York. This transmission of “Romeo et Juliette” will be broadcast in more than 2,000 movie theaters in 70 countries around the world, including AUC’s Malak Gabr Arts Theatre. Conducted by Gianandrea Noseda, the performance will be in French.
