The new season of Misr Theatre Company starring Ashraf Abdel-Baqi, Ali Rabiaa, Hamdi Al-Merghani, Mustafa Khater and Mohamed Anwar among others presents a number of new plays (Thursday 26 and Friday 27 January, 8pm).
Abtal Baladna (Heroes of Our Country), a puppet show performed by Misr Theatre Puppets, that were made in the Czech Republic depicting all the characters of Misr Theatre Company and their voices presenting a play for children, décor by Mohamed Sami, costumes by Hala Zahwa, written by Egypt’s writing workshop, lyrics by Ayman Bahgat Qamar, music composed by Mohamed Mohie and directed by Ashraf Abdel-Baqi
(Wednesday 22, Thursday 23 (11am) and Friday 24 February, 3pm).

Ahlan Ramadan (Welcome Ramadan), a comic play starring cinema and TV star Mohamed Ramadan, Rogina, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Shaimaa Seif, music by Amr Mustafa, choreography by Atef Awad, décor by Amr Abdallah, costumes by Marwa Aouda, written by Walid Youssef and directed by Khaled Galal
