Beit Al-Seheimi

A Story from Egypt, the third theatrical show presented by A Theatre Everywhere project. The show sheds light on the history of Beit Al-Seheimi and delves deeply into the era when Al-Muaaz Li Den Allah Al-Fatmi was ruling. It is written by Mohamed Abdel-Hadi, choreography by Samir Nasri, music composed by Mohamed Shehata, and directed by Mohamed Moursi (Thursday 15 June, Monday 19 June and Tuesday 20 June, 9.30pm).

Anta Fein Ya Qamar (Where are your Moon?), the actions of the play revolve around the disappearance of Ramadan crescent and the attempts to find out the reasons behind this strange phenomena. It casts Adel Al-Koumi, Nagah Hassan, Aida Ghoneim shows by Sherif Radi, lyrics by Mohamed Al-Shaaer, music by Bassem Abdel-Aziz, décor and costumes by Ahmed Shawki, written by Hatem Azab, directed by Hassan Saad

Qamar Al-Oshaq (Moon of Lovers), a singing performance revolves around a journey in the  adoration of God between a repentant woman, an atheist and a lunatic. It casts Sawsan Badr, Nasser Seif, Khaled Al-Zahaby, accompanied by Al-Faradis troupe for Sufi chanting, led by Sheikh Salah Abdel-Hamid, décor by Nasser Abdel-Hafez, written by Abdel-Rahim Kamal and directed by Mohamed Al-Kholi

Al-Salam Theatre

Qawaaid Al-Ashq Al-Arbaain (The Forty Rules of Adoration), a play starring Bahaa Tharwat, Fawziya, Ezzat Zein, Dina Ahmed, singer Amira Abu-Zeid, religious chanter Samir Azmi, together with the Arab Mawlawiya troupe among others, with dramaturgy by Rasha Abdel-Moneim, music composed by Mohamed Hosni, décor Mustafa Hamed, costumes by Maha Abdel-Rahman and Adel Hassan

Kaanak Tarah (As if You See Him), a dramatic show discusses the present social problems through the life story of Prophet Mohamed (P.B.U.H). It casts Mohamed Younis, Maher Mahmoud, Sameh Fekri together with a group of munshids (religious chanters), written by Nesma Samir and directed by Maher Mahmoud (Thursday 15 June, 9pm).  

Talaat Harb Cultural Centre

Al-Laila Al-Kebira (The Big Night) operetta, a puppet theatre show organised in cooperation with the Artistic House for Theatre. The operetta is written by Salah Jahin, composed by Sayed Mekkawi and directed by Salah Al-Saqqa
