Thurs 5, 6pm: “The Indian Investments in Egypt,” a seminar sheds light on the importance of the role played by Indo-Egyptian joint ventures and its contribution to the Egyptian economy. Raman Sehgal, the Managing Director of Misr Hytech, one of Egypt's leading seed companies, will interact with the audience on the success story of his factory. The seminar will be attended by Egyptian businessmen involved  in agriculture field and will be moderated by Nadia Jerindi, EIFA's Acting President.

Sat 7, 12-2pm: “What You Do Not Know about Hurricanes and Climate Change,” a lecture organized by the Centre for Special Studies and Programmes (CSSP) and TWAS-ARO within the framework of Simplified Science Programme. It will be delivered by Dr. Hesham M. El-Askary, Professor of Remote Sensing and Earth System Science, Center of Excellence in Earth Systems Modeling and Observations and Director Graduate Programs in Computational and Data Sciences at Schmid College of Science and Technology, Chapman University, USA.

Mon 9 , Tues 10, Wed 11, Thurs 12, 8pm: “Towards a Better Educator,” a project aims to implement a training programme for teachers that will rely on developing teachers’ personal and life skills that are complementary with their teaching skills. This will lead to enhancing their communication with students, which will reflect positively on the educational process as a whole.
Sat 7, 4pm: “Hellenistic Masters (Ninth Cycle - First Semester) - The Influence of the Alexandria School of Philosophy on Islamic Philosophy,” this course aims to explore how sciences from the ancient school of Alexandria travelled to the Islamic world and how Arabs managed to attain the sciences of Alexandria and the translation movement. The course will also explore the Muslim knowledge of Alexandrian philosophy; the conditions that led to the rise of science and philosophy both in the Islamic world and in Alexandria.
Sun 8 and Mon 9, 4pm: “Drawing Workshop,” a drawing workshop for young men and women. By the end of the workshop, the student should be able to begin implementing what they have learned and to have acquired a professional and specialized artistic taste. It will be given by Dr. Mahmoud Farid, professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts Graphics Department, Helwan University.
