Sun 3, 8pm: The Embassy of Spain in Cairo collaborates with Cairo Opera House to present “Castizo”, production of the Casa Patas Flamenco Conservatory Foundation directed by Begona Fernandez, and featuring Jose Almarcha (guitar), Ruben Puertas and Lucia Ruibal (dancers), Trini de la Isla (singer) and Epi Pacheco (cajon).
Thurs 7, 8pm: Oud recital by Ali Tantawi.

Every Sunday, 8.30pm: The Nile Troupe for Folk Instruments, conducted by Abdel-Rahman Al-Shafaai, performs dances and songs from Upper Egypt on mizmar, tabla and other traditional musical instruments.
Every Friday, 8.30pm: “Al-Aragouz wa Khayal Al-Zel” (The Shadow Puppet), a free public performance by clowns in Al-Muaaz Street, presented by Wamda and directed by Nabil Bahgat.

Sat 2, 8pm: The Cairo Symphony Orchestra’s concert performs Rageha Dawood’s Last Prayer Hymen for the souls of the victims of Friday Rawda events. Dr. Ines Abdel Dayem performs along with the orchestra lead by Nayer Nagy and directed by Hazem Tayel.
Thurs 7, 8pm: The Abdel-Halim Noweira Arab Music Ensemble, conducted by Salah Ghoubashi honours the memory of lyricist Kamel Al-Shenawy performing a number of his best songs.  Small Hall Thurs 30, 8pm: Oriental jazz concert by Yehia Khalil performs on the drums with his band.
Sun 3, 8pm: Violin and guitar recital by Hassan Sharara and Emad Hamdy respectively.
Mon 4, 8pm: A chamber music concert features Kholoud Sharara.
