Sahsah Lama Yangah (When Sahsah Succeed), a children play with décor and puppets designed by Amir Abdel-Massih, music composed by Mohamed Fawzi, poems by Salah Jahin and directed by Salah Al-Sakka

Falaki Theatre
American University in Cairo, Downtown Campus, 24 Falaki St, Downtown Cairo, Tel 012 8872 1446 Seidna Al-Waly, a play about a poor man who gets killed fighting greed and his daughter, the only witness, tries to avenge her father. The play performed by Ensan (Human Being) Theatrical Company is prepared and directed by Mostafa Ali and Mohamed Qadry. Her brother, raised in the capital and well educated, refuses to avenge his father and returns to fight the unfairness and deception and on his quest for knowledge (Two performances run on Friday 8 December, 5.30 and 8pm).

(Saturday 9 December, 8pm) Been El-Sama w El-Ard (Between the sky and the ground) Shatrang (Chess) theatrical troupe performs a fusion performance that links cinematography to theater in a strikingly various play that is a rollercoaster ride among drama, comedy suspense and more directed by Peter Mondy starring Edward Fayez,  Zeyad Ahmed, Passant Nabil among others (Thursday 14 December, 6pm).

Ghazal Al Banat (Flirtation of The Girls), a big comedy and musical show from the theatrical heritage of theatre icon Naguib Al-Rehany, through which comedian Mohamed Sobhy is back on stage. It is written and directed by Mohamed Sobhy casting Abdel-Rahim Hassan, Arkan Fouad, budding artists Nada, Mustafa Youssef, Syrian singer Ammar and many more (Acts take place each week on Thursday (7.30pm), Friday (6.30pm), Saturday & Sunday (7.30pm) from Thursday 7 December to Sunday 17 December).
