Every Sunday, 7.30pm: The Nile Troupe for Folk Instruments, conducted by Abdel-Rahman Al-Shafaai, performs dances and songs from Upper Egypt on mizmar, tabla and other traditional musical instruments.
Every Friday, 7.30pm: “Al-Aragouz wa Khayal Al-Zel” (The Shadow Puppet), a free public performance by clowns in Al-Muaaz Street, presented by Wamda and directed by Nabil Bahgat.

Sat 16, 8pm: The Cairo Symphony Chamber Orchestra, conducted by maestro Ziva Ploj Perush and featuring soloists Laura Virtanen (violin) and Wessam Ahmed (oboe) present a Baroque Christmas concert, Arcangelo Corelli: Christmas Concerto, featuring soprano Iman Moustafa, as well as works by Bach and Mozart.
Sun 17, 8pm: Contemporary Jazz Sufi music performed by Cairo Steps band (Egypt-Germany), conducted by Sebastian Müller-Schrobsdorff and honoured by the jubilant participation of flautist Ines Abdel Daim. Mon 18, 8pm: Arab songs performed by Emad Al-Sharouny. Tue 19 and Wed 20, 8pm: The Japanese Okinawa folk song and dance theatre troupe. Thurs 21, 8pm: The National Arab Music Ensemble commemorates the memory of singer and composer Farid Al-Atrash. Small Hall Thurs 14, 8pm: Lennon Trio (Italy) perform instrumental covers of the Beatles songs. Sun 17, 8pm: Cairo Conservatoire concert.
