Breakfast may be the most important meal of the day, but it’s also the most challenging for some. Eating the right breakfast can make the difference between having an amazing day and one that’s less than ideal. With so many options, choosing what to eat for breakfast can be a major task. But fear not — your perfect breakfast may be written in the stars.

Many of us have started doing things based on our zodiac signs, and though there’s no real science behind your birthdate and what to eat, it turns out that the stars can help you pick the perfect breakfast choice. 


Here are some perfect breakfasts based on your zodiac sign:


Libra (23 September-22 October): 

You’re known to be a cooperative, social and easygoing character. And since you’re driven by the desire to bring beauty and harmony to your world and the world at large, you need a satisfying breakfast with harmonious tastes and textures. A pretty fruit plate and yoghurt is a good combo, and stacked smoothies, a classic bagel and cream cheese or scrambled eggs and various omelets are also excellent for you. These breakfast choices provide your body with protein that helps to keep the energy high and the stomach full. Hash browns are another quick and easy breakfast for Libras.


Scorpio (23 October-21 November): 

You have a reputation for being passionate, assertive, forceful, mysterious, and always want to know what makes people do the things they do. Therefore, you’re going to need a lot of fuel to fire all those emotions and ambitions you have for the day. Your zodiac sign suggests bagels, cinnamon rolls, pancakes or toasts. Just make sure you combine those carbs with a healthy, protein-packed smoothie or an antioxidant-rich salad.


Sagittarius (22 November-21 December): 

You’re known to be jovial, honest, curious, outgoing and straightforward. A green smoothie is a great option for your sign. Reach for a protein powder drink you can sip on the go, or try sprinkling chia seeds on yoghurt and fruit for a quick hit of energy. Nut butter and chia seeds toasts, quinoa fruit salad, avocado toast with fried egg, omelets or egg breakfast muffins are perfect breakfasts for Sagittarius. A nourishing bowl of delicious flakes and milk that can make you feel like a kid again is a great way to start your morning. 


Capricorn (22 December-19 January): 

You’re striving for everything practical and ambitious. Capricorns are known to be responsible, careful, and manage their time properly, and breakfast is no exception. A balance of both carbohydrates and protein will help you start your day. The stars recommend eating open-faced breakfast sandwiches, whole-grain toaster waffles, breakfast burritos, and pumpkin oatmeal to feel on top of the world. Pick out the best fruit and nut toppings to power you throughout the day. 


Aquarius (20 January-18 February): 

Your mind is creative, highly analytical and skilled at making quick assessments. Turning information into easy-to-follow directions is never difficult for Aquarius. And since you’re the rebel of the zodiac, and you like to do things differently, a green smoothie with avocado, yoghurt, biscuits with honey butter, or even cold pizza are smart breakfast choices. Opt for fruit overnight oats, yoghurt with fresh berries, quinoa muffins, quinoa with fruit and almond milk, a waffle and maple syrup or oatmeal to increase your energy levels.


Pisces (19 February-20 March): 

You’re known to be kind, selfless, compassionate, and tend to see the bright side in everything. Since you’re not afraid of diets and enjoy experimenting with food combos, scrambled eggs with vegetables, yoghurt parfaits, smoothies, zucchini and banana muffins, oatmeal yoghurt pancakes, donuts or pizza are all excellent breakfast options to start the day.
