“Writing the Divine Comedy – Fifth Edition: The Dark Forest”, exhibition is dedicated to the masterpiece of Dante Alighieri and to the transcription of the first 21 verses of the Divine Comedy in different languages of the world, returns to Egypt after an international journey, enriched by recent works by Antonella Leoni Campioni and other artists, with a special section dedicated to the Selva Oscura (Dark Forest) (closing 30 August).

“Masterpieces XVII”, is the gallery’s summer collective art exhibition.  

For the seventeenth consecutive year, the gallery presents an exclusive collection of paintings and sculptures for its most prominent artists as well as its young talents. This year’s three new guests of honour are Abdel-Hady Al-Wechahi, Saleh Reda and Karim Al-Hayawan (24 June- 31 August).

“Culture Across Ancient and Modern - Exhibition of Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage in Daily Life”, exhibition is part of a series of cultural exchanges between Shanghai and Alexandria. It showcases the intangible cultural heritage in Shanghai. The Organizing Committee has therefore selected a number of works of art or craftsmanship representing the various stakeholders involved in the protection of intangible cultural heritage in Shanghai. With more than 130 exhibits, the show includes drawings by peasants from Shanghai's Jinxian County, the Shanghai-style Kashmiri embroidery, silk weaving, Chinese wool clothing, jade carving, bamboo carving from the Jiading District, as well as gold and silver crafts, among others. Daily from 9am to 9pm, Except for Fridays and Saturdays from 11am-7pm (8 -27August).
