Keeping the Ramadan spirit

Keeping the Ramadan spirit

Though it can be a tough month for some people due to the fasting, Ramadan is also a wonderful time to enjoy the breaking of the fast surrounded by family and friends. Adding Ramadan decorations to your home will also add a festive look and create a comfortable setting for your loved ones to enjoy.

Here are some suggestions to make your home look more like Ramadan:

Nothing gives your home more Ramadan vibes than lanterns, so place them everywhere. Put two or three different-sized lanterns in your living room. Use stylish smaller metal lanterns for bright or soft lighting in the dining room. You can also make the room brighter with one or two big lanterns on the floor to keep the Ramadan spirit alive.

Cover your cushions with beautiful Ramadan-style covers. Or decorate the living room table with a traditional Ramadan-designed tablecloth. You can even match it with the cushion covers. Try to choose colours that match your home design and decoration.

Create a Ramadan display by choosing an existing table in your home near the front door and creating a Ramadan display to feature all your decorations. Also think about decorating the walls with traditional Ramadan designs.
