Ghad Party: 45

Small parties: about 30

Muslim Brotherhood: about 50

Independents: 1250

Total estimated at 1635

Coptic candidates: 48

(29 in Cairo, one in Giza, one in Marsa Matruh, eight in El-Minya and 10 in Assiut)

Women: 43

(19 in Cairo, six in Giza, seven in El-Menoufiya, one in Marsa Matruh, two in Al-Minya, five in Beni Sweif, three in Assiut)
